Open cervix

My husband asked if I'm pregnant 😂 I've been nauseous lately and I was fine then all sudden projectile vomited everywhere afew days ago, and I've been nauseous still and I went to check my strings and my cervix is very open like more open than my finger tip, and I know its normal to skip periods with the IUD, and I plan on getting a test tomorrow, but I was curious that, if your cervix is open does that mean you can get pregnant even with it in? Or would the cervix being very open not matter, since its suppoes to make your CM uninhabitable for sperm, I don't have a doctor to talk to cause I dont have insurance and when I called they said they legally cant talk about this over the phone that I would have to schedule an appointment and be seen and with out insurance it's a couple hundred dollars, that I dont have at the moment.
