Shaving before labor?

Are you really not supposed to shave your vagina before labor? My due date is on August 25th. I'm so itchy I never let my vagina hair grow this long and its miserable! I would love to shave right now! But if your not suppose to then I'm not going to!

I had my husband hold a mirror down there so I could see what I was doing🤣🤷‍♀️ you gotta do what works best!!! And it also made cleaning myself easier

i shaved a few days before i actually gave birth not expecting to give birth anytime soon. but im so glad i did because it made pp so much easier to clean!

Don’t shave! If you nic yourself you can cause an infection, or if you have to have a C-section they will do it for you

Youre not supposed to because if you nick yourself, the chance of infection is high. You can use remover cream though.

Im not sure but I get sugar wax🤷🏻‍♀️ not painful and my hair doesn’t grow for 3 weeks.

lol forreal i had to get used to let it grow since it was even easier to get an infection  😩 but I was recommended by my aunt to not shave but use cream before going Into the hospital bc then if they shave me it was going to burn, plus I just wouldn’t trust anyone shaving me down there, how nerve wrecking 😩

I got shaved because of having a c section and i wish i would have done it before going because having someone else shave me was not comfortable. 
I had a waxing appointment set up for the next week but baby came early.
