Dont get stagnant in obeying God

1Kings 13:13-15 KJV

And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon, And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am. Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.

My revelation: So for those of you who aren't familiar with this text a man of God was sent from Judah to Bethal with a message for the king who at that time was Jeroboam. The message was concerning the false alter which King Jeroboam was leading the people into worship at. Once this man of God (which the bible never says name) finished speaking he denies food and water saying God forbid that he should eat or drink in Bethel. He says God told him not to even leave the same way. These statements were told to a false prophet who went after him and told him that God spoke something different. This is the thing that I recieved when I read that text: had the man not set down to rest, corruption would not have been able to catch up to him. Keep moving forward at all times.
