Do You Keep Your Potato Chips (eg Smith’s/lays) in the Fridge?

I’ve heard of people keeping them in the freezer. To keep them crisp. But damn. Just don’t use a cheap chip clip. Use these:They keep things fresh for like 10x longer than normal chip clips.

Why? Just why?
