Clomid?

Question

My husband and I have been trying for over 2 years. I have PCOS with cysts on my ovaries. 
A friend said she had luck with Clomid. Anyone else? Would you recommend trying it? Can a PCP write a prescription for it or would I have to see a RE?
OR is Metformin the way to go with PCOS? I really have no idea, so any help would be great!

I take metformin for pcos and clomid together when I TTC. It worked first try with my baby two years ago. I started using clomid again last month and also got pregnant but it was a chemical. This is the second round. Give it a try, and yes you need a prescription from your doctor.

I think you have to see a specialist for clomid. My gynecologist prescribed me metformin. I’m on my first full cycle using it.
