Is this normal?

At 8w4d baby heart rate was 174 and today 13w heart rate was 142 is this normal for it to be high and then low? This is baby #5 and all 4 of my others heart rates stayed closer together then this so just looking for reassurance, thanks in advance!♥️

Yep at 9 weeks baby was at 170 at 13 weeks it was 157. they tend to level out a little lower the farther you are.

My baby went from 178 to 160 then to 138! When I checked on the home Doppler it was back in the high 150s. The doctor said it’s due to activity!

Yes! Did that for both of mine so far. My daughters was close to 180 at 9 weeks then at 13 weeks was down to 140s. With this one, it was 174 at 9 weeks and 150 at 13 weeks. We don’t know gender yet. I remember thinking this with my first pregnancy and wondering why it dropped so much! I remember it dropped even a little more towards my third trimester. 130s-120s

My baby's did that too. Went from 178 at 8 weeks to 140 at 10.5 weeks. Turns out baby is a boy.
