My fiancé doesn’t go down on me anymore

I lost a pregnancy a few months ago, so I was bleeding/spotting for a month or two but have been back to normal for like the past month. We still have sex regularly, but my fiancé hasn’t gone down on me. I go down on him all the time either for foreplay or for a BJ, but he hasn’t. Finally last night when we were about to go at it, I asked him if he could go down on me. I miss having that kind of foreplay, and idk it makes me feel sexy and like he’s really into me when he goes down. But he got this uncomfortable look on his face and said “I don’t really want to tonight, I will later” I was confused and kind of hurt. I eat healthy, stay in shape, keep down there waxed and hair free, so I didn’t get why he wouldn’t want to anymore. So I was like, “okay, but it’s been months. Why don’t you want to anymore?”

He started a new job Monday (so 3 days ago) where he has to shave his face every day and he said his face was sensitive so he didn’t want to.

Is that actually a thing, or is he making excuses and is probably never going to want to go down on me again? Also if that is a thing, for those of you whose men do shave every day, does their skin get used to shaving every day or is it always sensitive?
