anyone who’s had the nt scam done?! help

so i hit 12 weeks yesterday and also got my nuchal translucency scan yesterday as well. everything went fine! i also got my blood work done before that @ 10weeks. i did the myriad kit as well as the standard 8 vials for first trimester. so my question is, do you automatically get to find out the gender early when getting these tests?? (like @ my next apt in a week?) or did i have to request it in advance??
