Possible Migraine?

Anyone else never had a migraine in their life and beginning to have them? I’m having pain only on the left side of my head. Wondering if I should be concerned.

I had really severe headaches my whole first trimester- to the point where my vision would be affected. My doctor said all of the hormone fluctuations can cause headaches during pregnancy and it’s a pretty common symptom. They’re finally getting a little better as I’m further along- I hope yours clears up! Call your MD and talk to them if you’re nervous tho or check what meds you can take. Mine cleared me to take excedrine migraine and it helps wayyy more than Tylenol.

Check any of the medications you’re taking! I was taking Allegra for allergies and it gave me “Occular Migraines with auras” which is just a big way to say migraine where the pain is in your eye and it affects your vision in a very psychedelic way. I had blind spots and in those blind spots it looked like a kaleidoscope! Very weird! Needless to say I quit taking it!

I had a migraine from 11:15-5pm today and was without medicine at work. Guess who packed Tylenol in their book bag for tomorrow? 🙋🏼‍♀️ 
I also noticed this afternoon that my blood pressure was a little elevated. I had started to see “shooting stars” in my vision so I figured that is what was going on. If you get another one, check your blood pressure out.

Yes that’s where it is. I took some Tylenol. I was a little nauseous earlier but I think I was just hungry.

I suffer with chronic migraine. I’d say if it’s not typical for you just get seen by the GP if it hasn’t cleared up by tomorrow to rule out anything else. Migraine is typically one sided around temple / eye and you may notice additional symptoms including tiredness, blurred vision, nausea sickness, weakness
