Has anyone had a detached retina and delivered vaginally? I’m worried about the extra pressure with pushing, the OB is deferring to my retinal specialist and he is confident that it is fully repaired and that pushing would not effect it, but also most of his patients are 80 years old and not having children, there isn’t really any research on it, but ultimately it is my choice. I’m terrified of my retina detaching again but don’t want to have a C section if not necessary.
