Anyone else still in the hospital recovering from a c section? How long did it usually take.you c section mommas to be in a little less pain? Also hoping baby girls sugars stay where they’re supposed so we are able to go home today

1 week after the c section it stopped hurting to get in and out of bed and go to the toilet. But keep up the pain medication schedule the doctors give you. And don’t lift anything heavy or try to pick up something from the ground. Each day will get easier if you don’t exacerbate the tummy area. You can do it! I was in the same mindset when I had my c section, just let everyone help you for the week - call in favours where needed.

About ten days pp I started to feel better. Try to stay ahead of your pain though. Take the medications as you should instead of waiting until your in a lot of pain to take them.

I stayed in the hospital for 3 nights
I’m currently 16 days past my Csection and I will say it’s a slow recovery. 
Still uncomfortable getting out of bed. Walk when you can, wear your binder. Your body will for sure let you know when you over do it 
I’m still sleeping sitting up for the most part in bed

I was allowed to leave after 2 days, but stayed 3 days because I was still a bit nervous taking her home (ftm). I. recovered like a champ though, I’m one week post baby and am back to full mobility and feeling better than ever, not even taking meds! Everyone recovers differently, I just happened to take it super well. Don’t fret, if you’re still in hospital, all that means is that the doctors will make sure your recovery is as smooth and easy as can be!

About 10 days for me. Don’t forget to take a stool softener regularly when taking pain meds.

I had 6 nights in hospital but only started feeling relatively normal 2 weeks post. The pain is pretty much 100% gone now 3 weeks later.
