How do you get over an ex?!!

Some of you might of seen I found messages on my boyfriends phone and he’s been cheating on me with a girl he works with 
We have a beautiful 5 month old son together and I’m so hurt and angry and upset. I keep thinking about it and it makes me sick to my stomach. I’ve still got the messages on my phone and I keep reading them and just crying. I literally haven’t stopped crying since Monday 
He’s ruined our family!!!! And I will forever hate him for it!! 
But I love him, I love him with all my heart and I can’t be without him!

All I am going to say is trust your gut. If you feel it is right to stay with him and work it out, then do it. If you feel in your heart that you need to leave, do it. Neither choice will be easy.
But please, PLEASE remember your self worth. It is possible to get over things like this and come out stronger! If you have time, listen to some episodes of Whine Down with Jana Kramer. It is a marriage podcast featuring her and her husband, and they have gone through infidelity right after a baby. It might help to see their perspective and what they did to keep their relationship going!
In the past when I’ve been cheated on, it came with years of torture and mental abuse. I was told I was crazy constantly, and there was shit going down the entire time. Do not let this happen to you!! You and your sweet baby deserve better than that!
You will make the right choice for you, don’t let anyone shame you into doing anything you don’t want to!

I wish I had some advice for you. When my son was 2 months old I found out my boyfriend had been cheating on with since February. I forgave him. Our relationship is still rocky and I have a lot of trust issues now. It sucks but I love him too much to give up over some nudes.

I can't imagine what you're going through. If I found out my husband did something like that after having our son I'd be devastated. I did have an ex bf for roughly 5 years before I met my husband.. and it was constantly on and off again because he couldn't commit and wasn't overall trustworthy. I really think you need to trust your gut on this one. With my ex, I always felt sad, suspicious, and like I was never good enough for him. You should NEVER be with someone who makes you feel that way, baby or not. He should make you feel loved and appreciated. I've learned that lesson after taking my ex back every time because he "missed me". Then 6 months later it would be the same thing all over again. Cheaters don't change. If they lose interest once they will probably lose interest again. People like that only want what they can't have.. and I want no part of it! Just remember, if you chose to stay, you choose to go through potentially the same heartache again. If you leave, you might meet the love of your life. What's more important right now is your son.. and if you're constantly upset and crying in the future over this jerk then it will affect him too. Good luck with all of this, I hope it gets better! If you feel the best thing to do is to work it out, then go ahead.. it’s ok to try again, but just know that you are stronger than this and your baby deserves a good environment and your mental health on 100% but always do what you think is best for you and your son 🙏🏼
My relationship after my son was born has been complicated, it’s like we dont love each other anymore. I keep telling myself it’s going to get better whether we end up breaking up or not.
