Does anyone use period panties?

Question

So I have been wanting to switch from pads to period panties or washable pads, but everything I see online seems confusing. Does anyone use period panties without backup and it works? If so, which brand? 
Also, if anyone uses the washable/reusable pads please let me know best brands as well. Thanks!

I’ve used them for years! I always use them with a tampon though because I’d bleed through them within an hour or so.
I use them as my backup instead of pads because I have really sensitive skin.
I was using Thinx, but honestly I’m not that happy with them. I’m looking in to trying ModiBodi next 😁

I use reusable pads on my lighter days now but I find them a bit annoying and they move out of position easily so I worry about leakage 🥵
I’ve heard great things about Modibodi undies but haven’t got the funds to invest in any just now. Hopefully soon!
I use a flow cup on my heavy days and find it really great 👍🏻
