Nausea while breast feeding/pumping?

Question

I’ve been trying to pump since I started my daughter on formula/bottle feeding in the hospital because she was having a hard time latching. I wanted to pump so that she could have breast milk from a bottle, every single time I try to pump I get hit with an extreme wave of nausea. I am engorged today and have tried pumping but I can’t get past the nausea long enough to keep it steady. Any tips please

Drink water!!!!! That feeling for me lasted a week or two. But literally soon as baby started sucking I would feel so dehydrated and nauseous

Maybe eat a snack while you’re doing it? It burns a lot of calories and takes a lot of energy from you, its important to replace that energy. I used to eat a PB&J, oatmeal, or peanutbutter toast with honey right before pumping, then a snack right after
