How does surgocy work???? Is it the same steps as ivf only difference is they put the embryo in the surrogate???and if a family offers to carry the baby do you have to pay them?

If it's your baby, the process for creating the embryo is the same, you go through an IVF procedure and have them frozen.  There is usually a few extra steps to include some FDA testing because you're putting your genetic material in someone else.  If you have a private surrogate not through an agency it's between you and the person whether or not you pay them.  You would definitely need a lawyer, and a good idea to consider a life insurance policy on the surrogate.  Then depending on your situation and insurance, there will likely be the costs for meds for the surrogate to transfer, etc. (I haven't personally gone through this, but have a close friend in the process, so I may be missing some information).

Yes it’s the same process as Ivf except the surrogate herself would take injections to prepare for embryo transfer. Payment is between you and the surrogate, but you definitely need a legal contract written by a surrogacy expert.
