Is this Braxton Hicks contractions?

It kinda feels like gas pains mixed with like a little cramping it’s mostly on my left side i felt it for a little bit then it came back again 30 min later. I laid down on my left side in bed but I started hurting so I sat up! It’s hurting currently but nothing too bad , I’m 33 weeks 😬 and FTM.

Braxton Hicks is more of just a tightening feeling, like your entire belly gets hard. Cramping may happen as well, but what you’re describing kind of just sounds like regular aches and pains that come with the 3rd trimester. It could totally be gas pains too. Hope you feel better!

Braxton hicks for myself feel like a tight tummy cramps like a muscle cramp. But it is usually accompanied with a feeling of cramps that are similar to diarrhea (TMI) but you know those achey cramps. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I wasn’t sure if they were contractions or BH, my dr informed it that it was normal BH and no biggie as long as they are no more than 6 and hour. :-)
