Depo bleeding?

This is my first time using this method of bc, I got my first shot about 2-3 weeks ago at my post natal first and I started bleeding almost a week ago, will it stop? I’ve read so much about bleeding for months please tell me that isn’t the norm. I don’t need this taking a toll on my relationship esp after having a baby and not having sex

I dont ha e any bleeding with it generally. I had some spotting when I got my next one a tad late but thats it.

I got my first one while being on my first period after having a baby. I got it on the 3rd day of my period and it instantly lightened it but I’m still spotting off and on and it’s been over a week and usually my periods are only 5 days. I’ll stop and then I’ll start spotting again. I know having a baby can also throw my cycle off but it’s very annoying.

It effects everyone differently hun when I was on it I only bled like normal period. But my niece had the shot and bled on and off all month for 3months. She didn’t end up having the shot again because of the bleeding..

I got my shot 3 days pp and didn’t have any issues. I was obviously still bleeding from giving birth but I didn’t have any issues otherwise. I’m 6 weeks pp now and the only thing Ive noticed since I got it is that my joints hurt a little bit when I wake up in the morning. My doctor said that extra calcium is a good idea while you’re on it. I think I’m going to do one more shot and then switch to the mini pill since my baby will be on a schedule by then. Right now it’s too hard to find time to shower so I can’t be trusted to take a pill at the same time every day.
