So I'm 6 weeks and 1 day with baby #2 and I went for my 1st appointment. The doctor told me not to worry but she didn't see a heartbeat. Says it still very early and I will come back in 2 weeks. I did have some small spotting even during the exam. She did see a yoke sac and said it looked good and round. Apparently when getting ready to miscarry the yoke sac starts to break down. She had me get labs drawn today and Monday to make sure my hcg is increasing properly. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks 2 years ago and it was a horrible experience. Anyone had an early ultrasound without heartbeat that went on to have a healthy baby ?
