Tiny Baby at 34 Weeks and Low Amniotic Fluid
Yesterday I went to the OB for a blood pressure check and they decided to do an ultrasound. I’m 34 weeks tomorrow and they said baby girl is only around 3lbs 5oz and is at less than 3% on the growth chart. Because of that and lower levels of amniotic fluids they’re sending me to high risk tomorrow. Is there a need to possibly switch and deliver at a hospital with a NICU? Will they take her early due to intrauterine growth restriction or low fluids? C-section or can you be induced like that?
