Any Mama's out there with labor intensive jobs or working somewhere you just don't want to expose yourself to when you maybe can't move your fastest? I'm a paramedic with a private ambulance company and honestly I'm more concerned about psych patients than anything else. I've always been able to take them down but if I'm already a little slower and out of breath walking too fast... I don't feel like I'll be safe when I start showing and they see me as a target. And I don't want to put my partners in a position where they feel they have to defend me. Can anyone relate? My company offers light duty, when do y'all take it?
There's also the concern of working with the sickest in our communities during flu season.
