I found these baby neck pillow/seat belt wrap sets and I really want one but as a FTM I’m second guessing the safety. Any insights?

Not safe! Anything that doesn’t come from the manufacture can cause baby to come out of the seat. My hospital wouldn’t let me leave with a minky liner in my daughters seat.

Of course suffocation is the main issue with these products but another issue they cause is that those covers that go on the straps are too big for your little baby they make it impossible to get the chest clip where it’s supposed to be in order to protect your baby during an accident

This example is even on a much large baby but just an example of the way they interfere with the buckles

Not safe. Any after market projects are not safe to use with any car seat. Only use products that came with tour seat.
