When did you go for your first prenatal visit?

I just got my bfp last night and a positive digital this morning. I’m 4 weeks pregnant tomorrow, based on the date of my last period. When did you go to the gynecologist to confirm pregnancy and get checked out to make sure everything is okay?

Go ahead and call your OBGYN. They will most likely have you take a blood test to confirm and then get you in around 7-8 weeks for your first appt and ultrasound! Congratulations!

My doctor wouldn’t see me until 8weeks

I called right away and they got me in for a blood test

Mine got me in at 6 weeks just for a blood pressure check, urine test, and a general exam. Then US at 8 weeks. Didn’t have bloodwork for a while don’t remember when.

Mine was as soon as I found out, I was 4-5 weeks. Just to get established and go through all my medical info. Then I didnt go back until I was 7 weeks for my first ultrasound. 
I also had to go to the hospital before my first ultrasound to get blood taken to confirm pregnancy (at this time they didn’t have their lab ready)

Most doctors won’t see you til 8-12 weeks. Mine was 11 weeks with my son & 10 with this baby
