Calling all fitness mamas!
I’ll try and keep this short and sweet! I’ve been SO fortunate to maintain my workout regimen since finding out I was pregnant in February. Up until about mid-July, I was doing 21 Day Fix and walking my dogs 2ish miles everyday. While I’ve kept up my BeachBody workouts, I haven’t been able to walk outside due to the Texas heat and fear of dehydration.
I pride myself on listening to my body, and I think it’s time to shelf my BeachBody workouts until I’m ready postpartum. While I’m not struggling to complete a workout, I’m just not recovering well and my hips and lower back are telling me it’s time to slow down.
What is everyone else doing in their third trimester? Any recommendations? It’s really hard for me to give up lifting, and I have access to a gym where I can walk on the treadmill, but that’s like my least favorite!! I’m ready for it to cool off so I can walk outside again!
Babygirl will be here Oct 2 (via c-section), so I’m in need of some sort of activity to keep me moving and sane until then!
