When did you feel first movement

I’m just wondering when you all felt movement I’m a FTM and my placenta is on the top and front so my midwife said it’s totally normal that I haven’t felt anything yet. I’m 19 weeks with my 🌈 baby boy any answers help from other mamas with experience! Thanks

My placenta is fundal/posterior (on top and towards the back) I kept poking around my waistline (where hipster undies sit) and played different music to see what made her dance. At 16 weeks on the dot she started kicking to Beautiful Soul by JMac. My husband blew a raspberry on my belly and that scared her so much she jumped 🤷‍♀️ I’ve heard of using a flashlight to make them try to kick it away. If all else fails, baby might just not be strong enough to punch through your placenta. Good luck and happy hunting!

I felt the first kick at 11 weeks but I didn’t realize it was a kick yet because it wasn’t consistent. My placenta is toward my back making me feel movements more then most though.

I had my anatomy scan today and found out I have an anterior placenta, too. Funny enough, this morning I actually felt my first kicks. But apparently that’s totally normal considering the placenta’s in the front, and I’m a FTM, too.

I also have an anterior placenta. My ob gyn told me it’s normal not to feel anything until 20+ weeks. Such a bummer but comforting to know nothing is wrong :) she also said I’m more likely to feel kicks at the sides of my belly, and not at the front/middle.
