Macbook Air? Is it worth the price

I have only owned one laptop, an HP that i got at the beginning on my college career which was in 2015. I am now on my last year of college and my laptop is super slow and takes forever to load. Once it is finally loaded it works okay. The battery life is not great. I’m thinking of purchasing a macbook air. So those who have one, do you like it, how long have you had it, those who have had it for some time how is it holding up?

i had a google chrome book before, it was also pretty decent but it doesn’t have the same functions as the macbook

I swear by Macs. Everyone shits on them, but I think they are by far the best quality laptop. I’ve had a Sony Vaio, multiple hp laptops, a toshiba or two, and I think another but I forget what. They die within two years and the quality just isn’t there. I was gifted a MacBook Pro that they had for a few years and it lasted me a few years. It was ten years old when it retired. I purchased my own MacBook Pro and I’ve had it for three years now and it’s still going strong. My mother in law was anti Mac and I bought her a MacBook Air and she loves it. She’s had it for a year and a half now I think. I definitely think it’s worth it.

I love my macbooks! I have a few. I get a new one every year for christmas from my SIL. They are worth the price and they are pretty amazing!
