What age did your baby start walking?

My friend was bragging that her baby is walking already but mine isn’t yet and he’s a few weeks older than her baby. What age did yours start walking. My son is 10 months almost 11. I know baby’s go at their own pace. TIA

Mine is almost 11mo and is not walking. Not standing on her own either. There is a loooong timeline for these things. Each child is different and it doesn't mean one is better than the other.

My baby will be one on 9/16 and she isn’t walking yet. She is my fourth daughter and none of them walked by one. My oldest graduated high school this past May at 17 (8th in her class of 482) and not walking at one hasn’t effected her at all 😂 Babies are all different and on different time schedules. Remind your friend it isn’t a competition!!

My daughter who is 2 started walking at 12 months. My 10 month old got himself into sitting position from crawling for the first time today and he has never attempted to pull himself up on anything yet. They are all so different and will do it in their own time.

My baby is 10.5 months and not walking yet. I didn’t walk until I was 17 months and I’m fine. I think a lot of the time it seems like everyone else’s babies are meeting milestones because people post or tell others when they do those things. For every baby that is walking, there are plenty that aren’t. Every baby is different and there is a wide window of ‘normal’.

My two year old started around 11 months, my second started this week at 10 months. But she wants to run with her big sister. They are all so different. My friend has an 11 month old with 11 teeth. My 10 month old only has 2. Don’t stress. Baby will walk when baby is ready.
