My baby is 11 weeks old...we live in Florida where it is HOT. Tonight I had turned the AC down from our usual 75 degrees to 72 degrees. I had her in a T-shirt and pant pajama set in her room sleeping (she does have the best vent in the house) she woke up as usual around 5 am to eat. I took her to my bed and noticed her feet were cold. I went to the kitchen and made her a bottle and grabbed her a pair of socks on the way back into my room. I sat down on the bed with her and looked at her arms and they were BRIGHT red and her fingers were purple and her little fists were clenched so tightly, it also appeared to me her arms were swollen as well. I called 911 and when the responders arrived he touched her and immediately said she’s cold, she’s freezing. We got in the ambulance and they held her feet and put a blanket on her and warmed her up and all her stats were fine and her arms went back to normal....I told them we would just stay home & if something else happened of course I would call them back...had this happened to anyone else? I feel so stupid. I try to always make sure she isn’t too hot bc of the fear of sids and here I was literally freezing my baby...
