Foot size

So Im a FTM mom and gave birth 3 weeks ago. Towards the end of my pregnancy I swelled up a LOT. My feet looked like sausages. I didn’t have GD or preeclampsia. Totally normal pregnancy. My question is when will my foot size go back to normal? I am normally a size 6 and two weeks ago I went to the mall and could not fit into my normal size, i had to try a size 7. I don’t want to buy shoes because I don’t know if the swelling will go down or not. Has anyone else had this issue?
