Does giving Tylenol .....

Question

After 2 month shots take away the effectiveness of them??
Super worried now that she didn’t get the proper effect of the shots.
Baby was extremely fussy so I believe she was in pain and had low grade fever. Was given the dosage recommended by ped every 4 hours for about 3 days when needed (Took about 6 times in total of 3 days)z

There is new research that suggests it lessens the effects. Our pediatrician told us not to give. However people have been giving Tylenol after shots for YEARS so I wouldn’t worry. Just don’t give it next time 🙃

No it doesn’t lessen the effect of the vaccine...Tylenol just helps with the side effects that some babies get from the vaccines😊 don’t worry mama. The doctor wouldn’t recommend something if it messed with the vaccines.

I was told I could give shortly before so she’s not as sore later, or after if she was feeling the side effects
