Early gender scan

So I saw somewhere was offering a gender scan from 12 weeks. They did part normal ultrasound and part 3D. I spoke to a friend who said to do it as you would clearly be able to tell if it’s a boy or a girl by a 3D scan. I’ll be 13 weeks soon. Does it being 3D make it easier to tell if it’s a boy or a girl? Anyone seen this before?

I’m tempted but don’t want to waste money as I know it’s not 100%.
