Do you count the oz per scoop/per final.

Question

I recently start to supplement a lot more than I used to and it comes to my attention that when I give 3 scoop per 3oz, it became 3.5oz total so do I count it as 3.5oz or 3oz? I’m sorry if it is a little confusing..

My understanding is that you put the water in first (3 oz) and then add the scoops (for our formula, that would be 1.5 scoops). Then shake. It will look like more at first, but it’s 3 oz. Once the bubbles settle (if you make it ahead and leave in the fridge), it settles to 3 oz.

I count for what I prep. For example, 1 scoop per 2oz. My guy eats 4oz (which really makes a little bit more than that) but I count it as 4oz.

I honestly dont even pay attention to the end result. You just add the water first, so 3 oz of water, then your formula to the water. And then I see what is left uneaten to see what he ate. For my formula one scoop is for 2oz of water. What formula are you using? Are you sure that 3 scoops are necessary for 3 oz or water? Just checking!

I count it as the amount of formula that I add, not the total mixed.
