How long did you bleed after a d&c?

I had a d&c on thursday and have been spotting on and off since. Starting yesterday I'm losing a whole lot of blood, like a heavy period. Is this normal? When will it stop? I don't want to be reminded of our loss all the time, it's hard enough as it is, and I just want to have sex again to TTC for a sibling for our toddler. I feel like I'm pressuring myself way more than I did when TTC for our first. I was only 8 weeks.
