So yeah. My company is offering an entirely paid for trip to our top group of people. I am extremely confident that I will be able to earn a spot on this trip. It would be HUGE for my job and to be honest- I need a vacation!!

My fiance (father of my daughter) forbids me going. I told him about it and how excited I was to earn it, but he shut me down and said he is absolutely not okay with me going without him. Of course, I'd love to bring him but that is not an option as spouses have to pay their way and we cant afford it.

It's not guaranteed that I can even go, but I want to work hard and be recognized and earn my spot. I just have no support from him. He says he "is never going to support me going out of state without him because it leaves too much room for me to be unfaithful." I am NOT an unfaithful person, but he treats me like that constantly. I just want his support,but even when I bring it up- he gets really mad at me and says "what's more important? Going on this trip or having me in your life?"

This sucks
