sleep training??

Question

can any one help me my 7 month old wont sleep in his own bed an he always sleeps in our bed an I have been trying to sleep train him since he was 4 months old an I even put him in his own bed for naps bit he wont sleep in his bed no longer then 30 minutes to an hour an he is also teething

We have a whole night time routine we stick too. But for the actually sleeping time routine.
1hr before laying out little down he gets melatonin and snuggles with us as we wind down for the night and watch Puffin Rock on Netflix, it’s a super calm show, and our little loves it. He also knows by now it means it’s about bedtime. 
After he watches a episode, we let him crawl up the stairs as we walk behind him and explore his bedroom for 5-10minutes as we make sure all his bedtime must haves are in his crib. A fresh ice water sippy cup, pacifier, his 2 favorite stuffed animals: (he won’t go to sleep without them) and his blanket (also won’t sleep without)
Then we put him in the crib and sit next to the crib and I read a short story and his dad reads him a short story. An as I go to turn of the bedroom light his dad lays him down and tucks him in and will rub his back or belly and shshsh him. An within 10 minutes our little one is out for the night.
He sleeps in his crib and his own room all night long, from 9:30pm - 10:30am. I go in during the night and change him at 12pm, 4am, 8am 
•• sidenote: when I put him down for the night I do double diaper one underneath one on-top of the other diaper and just undo the bottom diaper and slip it out from the already fastened fresh one. That way I’m not turning him about so much and waking him. 
An at 8am I undo the dirty and take it off and do a warm wet wipe clean him up and put a new one on. If he wakes up I let him up for the day.

The Sleeping Solution book. I co slept until I chose to sleep train him at 8 months. That very first night he slept the whole 12 hrs. Only read the book for two hours, very straightforward rules that are designed for us who don’t believe crying out.
