Burning stretch marks? TMI picture

I delivered via csection a little over a week ago, and when I pulled the steel strips off, they left welts on my stretch marks... I’m not actually sure if it’s from the Sheri strips, if my losing the weight so fast... anyway, the. Welts hurt like hell... anything touching them (underwear or pants) feels like my skin is on fire. What is this??

Could be an allergic reaction to the adhesive on the tape. I’m allergic to the adhesive in bandaids and stuff so they used something special on my c section.

I have an allergy to adhesives too especially on sensitive skin like that. Try some Benadryl cream and try to keep it away from irritating fabrics. I used to put a cool pillow case over it
