Makeup and pregnancy ?!?

Question

I honesty had no idea that some makeups aren’t safe during pregnancy.  I’m 16 weeks pregnant and I use it cosmetics and well after research I read it’s unsafe due to some ingredients.  No I’m wondering if using it up until now was harmful and I didn’t even realize it?

My doctor said makeup is fine ... she never heard of it before .. she said she used makeup for the last 15 years and she wouldn't stop if she was pregnant lol

For me anything anti aging was a no go. Other than that I kept using my makeup. I would go with out when I was not up to it. Really, I feel like it can be overboard, your skin on your face is not going to absorb enough to hurt anything in my opinion.

I do know hair dye is bad during pregnancy. (Also certain types of cat litter are very dangerous.)So many worries. Don’t get consumed by them. Your baby will be perfect!
