LDR or not?

I've been talking to a guy online for more than 2 months almost everyday. We share almost every thought on everything,but through text. There were only 3 times we called and i had to push it. He hasn't mentioned the alternative of calling for some time. But he planned meeting for the first time in December ( he's coming to see me).

What bothers me is that he doesn't initiate phone calls (just texts) and hasn't even asked me to be his girlfriend although we often flirt and we kinda talked about what we feel about each other (and it seems to be romantically, not just penpals). I don't know where I stand with him and it's annoying.

What do you suggest?
