Ectopic pregnancy?

My husband and I are over 35 and have been trying to conceive for over a year now.

I was diagnosed with PID and also 2 blocked Fallopian tubes 4 months ago and was told I had to have an operation to unblock them. I would have to wait 4 months though for this operation.

We live in Mexico and here the operation has to be paid for by us and it was coming to around £3,000. Which is money we don’t have at the moment because we booked a trip home to the uk before we found out and couldn’t cancel now. We realised it would be maybe 6 months before we could save up for it. Just adding more time to our TTC timeline. Which made me very sad.

My doctor also told me that if I do get pregnant at any point from now on, I am at high risk of having an ectopic pregnancy because of the blockages in my tubes.

So last month I visited my parents in the Uk and for my cousins wedding. My husband joined me on this trip and we were made sure we baby danced the minute he arrived, even though he arrived 1 day after my ovulation date on Glow.

Ever since I found out we needed the operation, we’ve been praying every day for God to somehow find us the funds for our operation so we wouldn’t have to wait so long. And he is a good God and he answered our prayers. GTG. We were gifted our £3,000 😱❤️🥳👏🏼😘🤗

So prepared to return home to have my operation next week I’m a little surprised by this.

My period the last 3-4 months has generally been coming 2-3 days late. Which is odd because it’s never done that before. So when it got to 5 days this time round I just thought it was normal and with the sore breasts and cramps (but no spotting) I knew Aunt Flow was on her way. But she hasn’t arrived yet.

So just went to the bathroom and saw this.....

Didn’t believe it so did it 2 more times!

I’m too scared to get excited! I am somehow not letting myself get excited, even though it’s what I’ve wanted for so long now and something we’ve prayed about every day since we started TTC.

What if it’s an ectopic pregnancy!?!? How do I find out? What do I do?
