I'm scared

Hi everyone I am 20 years old and ill just say now, my biggest fear is hospitals/ operations and needles.

I just resently been given the news that I could have Endometriosis. To stop it or find out I'd need key hole surgery. I haven't have an operation since I was born. I was born with Gastroschisis so I have scars and I am super shy about my body and knowing I'd have more added onto my belly is lowering myself of steam. I have never felt comfortable in my own skin.

To get to the point I just want to know if anyone else has gone through this operation and possibly talk me through what happens to stop me over thinking. I am just terrified.
