Is AIT mailing address different from the basic training address??

The last time I heard from my boyfriend (both written and spoken) was on August 18 when I went to see him for his turning green ceremony. I moved into my college dorm the day after I got back so he knew if he mailed anything I wouldn’t receive it. I was barely able to get my P.O. Box early last week and sent him a letter. It takes about 8 days to get a response back since it’s 4 days to Georgia & 4 days sending back. I haven’t heard from him still and I was wondering if anyone could provide some insight on this.. I’ve been told most soldiers are allowed their phones after basic training but Fort Benning is very strict /:
