My ectopic pregnancy stories
On July 15th I went to the hospital for what I was thinking just a UTI. Which I had an ultrasound done, because I had positive HCG levels of 29,000 but nothing was visible. I had a 1 week ½ left until my cycle was due. I was happy but i knew something was wrong. The ultrasound tech found 3 quart size cysts on my left ovary. I was asked to come back on July 17th for a repeat ultrasound and hcg level blood test. Well my levels had tripled at just 3 weeks and a couple days 87,000. The ultrasound found the sac with was growing in my left tube. That day I was giving two shots of methotrexate. It was a very emotional moment for me. I had never been through anything like that. On July 28th the day before my birthday I was totally feeling fine. My family and I was over my husband bestfriend house when out of nowhere the pains was so bad I could barely breathe. I was examined and found out that my ectopic pregnancy detached from my tube and reattach to my left ovary which had ruptured. I had a emergency surgery to remove the pregnancy and left ovary. The OBGYN examined my ovary and sac an came to terms that I would have been having twin. I cried my eyes out.
