Birth control

Okay so I’ve been considering birth control, but I’m not sure if I wanna start...

When I start my period, sometimes I get really sick, and I get pains from the waist down that I can feel down to the bone.

I just became sexually active too so that was going to be another reason ( I don’t use condoms...). But I’m second guessing using them, and I only see positive reactions to it and I just wanna know both sides, can I get some help?
