How long would you wait?

Honest opinions & experience please.  I had a d &e last Friday and I am already of thinking when we can try again. After my 1st period? I will ask at my follow up appointment next week but just wanted to know your experiences

After our surgery we were told to wait until I got my first period after the surgery and my husband and I really thought about it and we tried immediately after my first cycle came back my hopes were really low, we used preseed lubrication and the clear blue digital ovulation test strips and lo and behold we got pregnant on that cycle and I’m now 37 weeks along with a perfect healthy rainbow baby but always check with your doctor! Everyone is different, and I wish you the best of luck.

It’s different for everyone! I had my MMC in June and then waited two cycles. Just got my BFP! 🙏🏼

You can try again whenever you're ready to emotionally. Medically you do have to wait for your bleeding to completely stop before having sex else you put yourself at risk of a serious infection.

You should listen to your heart, try again when you are ready ❤ It is however not recommended to have sexual intercourse for 2 weeks because of the risk of an infection.
