10 weeks exactly today and the NP did a bedside vaginal US to see the heart beat. She was very quick and only looked to make sure it was beating. She didn’t measure the rate or tell me anything. This is the picture she gave me. Why does it look so funny?

Looks normal to me. She just doesn’t have the baby centered on the screen.

She did ask me if I saw the heart beating and at first I couldn’t. So she moved the wand and then pointed it out and I could see it beating away. But as soon as I saw it, she pulled out the wand and stopped. I really wanted to know the heart rate since my first scan was too early to hear it, but at least baby grew and the heart is still beating. 
I did see 2 arms and 2 legs when she had it turned a certain way, but these pictures freak me out. She scheduled me an appointment 2 weeks out to see my actual doctor. Could she have seen something to make me need to see my doctor sooner than 4 weeks?

I had an early scan they were scared of an ectopic so that’s all she checked for didn’t even check for a heartbeat or anything! I was so mad! Like you’re already in there can you just check so I’m not worried. I am sure all is fine though for us both!
