If someone doesn’t know if they want to be with you, should you just leave first?

If you are in a relationship and you come across a point where your SO doesn’t know if they want to be with you, would you make the decision for them and leave yourself? Does it depend on the scenario? What if they say this in the heat of a fight or right after one? Etc

Not in the heat of a fight no, but if my SO sat me down and seriously discussed not knowing if he wanted to be with me, then yeah, I’d make that choice very easy for him.

Communicate first.... Have a talk about it and determine whether or not he meant that. If he didnt mean it, he can't keep making comments like that and you guys need to work that out. If he did mean it, and he doesn't know if he wants to be with you, you need to decide if it's worth it for you to keep trying to pursue him or better for you to move on. Good luck!
