Thursday morning I had an OB appointment.. 3.5 cm dilated and cervix wasn’t softening. Decided to get my membrane swept. Friday throughout the day I had inconsistent contractions. As the day progress they got stronger. Called my OB at 1:30ish am and was told to wait till contractions are 5 minutes apart.

So there I was in all fours trying to make it through each contraction. They were 7-8 minutes apart and weren’t getting closer. Around 3am I tell my husband we are going to the hospital I’m not waiting any longer.

We get to the hospital and I’m 8.5 cm dilated😳 holy smokes ok I’m having baby like soon soon. I was at the hospital for 2.5 hours and my precious baby boy finally entered the world.

Natural birth, which by the way never effen again. It was the most excruciating pain ever. I can’t even describe it. Getting from 8.5 cm to 10 cm was the worst.

Baby’s ODD was 9/13/19, but was born 9/7/19 at 6:20 am. A healthy baby boy.
