Something is not right down there😰 please helpppp

So recently the skin near my vagina, mainly the skin between my vagina and butthole, has been very itchy. About a day ago i didn’t wear underwear for the whole day thinking maybe my underwear was making itch or making it become irritated and the itching kinda stopped but then i started to feel down there and the skin felt very hard and i had flakes of skin coming off. It reminded me of dandruff kinda. Does anyone know what this could be and what could have caused it? I haven’t had sex in almost 4 months now btw.
