FTM - 8 weeks Morning Sickness Gone

I've had morning sickness for 3 weeks and as soon as I hit 8 weeks the morning sickness disappeared. Is this normal? I'm 8w3d today and I still have slightly sore boobs (not as sore as they were in the beginning)

I've read that the placenta starts to take over starting week 8 but I'm not sure how accurate that info is. Anyone else have morning sickness disappear at 8 weeks?

I’m a FTM and I’m trying to stay calm, but the decrease in symptoms have me a little uneasy.
