Waking up all of a sudden?!

My June baby is now waking up at night, she hasn't done this since she was 17 months old. Last night she was up from 2am to 5am!! We cuddle her or rock her, put her down and she just screams. Rinse and repeat for 3 hours..we are going insane. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any advice?

She stopped doing it thankfully, not sure what the heck was going on..but glad it's over! Thanks ladies.

That's a rough, long stretch to be up. Hope things settle down for you guys soon. Is she teething or going through any major changes lately? My son started waking up a few times in the night fairly recently. I think he's just imitating his new (4 month old) baby brother. He hears his brother's cries get comfort, so he's seeking the same. Just confirming that I'm still there for him whenever he needs me. A short cuddle and he goes right back to sleep. The last times he had longer stretches of getting up were the results of teething, and at one point getting sick.

My son does it sometimes. He was doing it often before I had his sister in July and now again when we moved into our new house. Sometimes he screams sometimes he just wakes up and climbs into bed. Think it’s just normal and a phase. Maybe just lay with her or let her stay with you for a bit and she’ll go back to normal again.
