Morning after pill??

So I took the morning after pill last Tuesday night around 11.50 with a very full stomach, later that night/morning I had serve sickness starting at 3.25-6.30 Wednesday morning and everything I had eaten came back up (sorry for the gory image) my question is, would my body have absorbed the pill? I could taste like a tablet residue the second time I was sick, and I was literally being sick by the hour. Sorry if this seen stupid, I’m just curious if the body will take longer to absorb medication on a full stomach.
